Sonamarg is the base of a major trek that passes along several mountain lakes Vishansar, Kishansar, Gadsar, Satsar and Gangabal. It is also a base for undertaking the holy Amarnath Yatra

This picturesque site is also famous among trekkers and adventure seekers. It mostly remains covered in snow, however one can hire sledges as well to have some fun.
